A Punjabi Wedding at South Street Seaport

Posted on December 12, 2014

My husband and I had a particular vision for our wedding events and almost immediately Preeti was able to understand our style. Her ability to successfully translate our vision into reality truly makes her a master event planner. Her creative insight, dedication to perfection and warm personality allowed Manu and I to have memorable, fun events that spoke to both of our personalities.

Aside from her outstanding event management skills, her creativity flourished in our décor for our sangeet stage, wedding mandap, guest tables, and reception head table. Manu and I wanted three distinct “looks” for our sangeet, wedding and reception and Preeti was able to completely make all three happen. For our sangeet, Preeti focused on a Moroccan theme with hookhas, and rich fabric draping that transformed our venue. For our wedding and reception, we imagined a traditional affair followed by a glamorous party, which Preeti flawlessly made happen.

The night of festivities ended with an after party at the Hotel on Rivington, all of which Preeti coordinated.

From start to finish, Preeti was able to handle the demanding needs our wedding with ease, perfection and class. We truly believe that we would not have had a beautiful wedding without Preeti, she went above and beyond in making sure we attained everything we wanted for our events. For us, Preeti’s attention to detail and calm personality really ensured that the events were fun yet spoke to our discerning palates. Words cannot express our endless thanks, and we are truly moved for everything she did for us!

Thank you, Preeti for being such a rock star!!!
